Can anyone help please?
Problem: test for a dead or inactive hyperlink using ASP so that the
program can take action if the link is not valid. Let's say I have links to
six sponsors sites. I want to show them all as hyperlinks, but only if they
are up and running.
I'm guessing there is a way of pinging the site and using the return value
as a conditional criterion in the ASP page. But I haven't figured out how to
do it yet. HELP!!! |
