I would say it is a combination of the FTP service to access the files and some type of FTP component(like SAFileUpload or ASPupload check www.aspin.com and search for a component) which can be used on a asp page to upload files or ftp client (www.download.com search for a ftp client) outside of your web application. The thing is that you don't have to create a web application to do this if that is all they are going to do otherwise look at the components. |
