Hello,
I have been having a bit of trouble trying to take a record out of a database and putting it into a form. I have been creating forms using Adobe Acrobat4.0 which people can fill out online and submit to a database. I am using Access Database and VBscript with ASP. This works fine, my trouble is getting a record out of the database and back into the pdf form.
What I am envisioning is having a simple html form that a person can fill in, for example, a first name and last name then hit a submit button and it will query the database for that particualr record for the form. If the record exists, it will populate the pdf forms fields with the information.
I have been looking for about 2 weeks for some kind of information on doing this. I am a beginner so this is becoming quite frustrating. If anyone out there can offer me some help I will greatly apprerciate it. Feel free to email me!
