Microsoft does not specify the limit neither they tell that there are many problems with it, like if you use session objects it inturn uses a cookie and you know the limitations of it. There are pblms when you scale to web farms. The best way to avoid all this is to use combination of get and post methods and then retrive the id of person using appropriate methode
