Couple of things....
First of all, make sure youve installed the ASP component for PWS (If you have Front Page, its on the CD under the 60 Minute Intranet Kit Folder)... it is also available for download from Microsoft (search for "asp front page" and you should find the download link).
Also, as stated before, make sure you are placing the file in your web root (with PWS I think its c:\webshare\wwwroot\). You will also need to set permissions on the folder, you need to allow it to execute programs. If you dont do this, your code wont work. You can set the permission by right clicking on the folder (c:\webshare\wwroot\whatever\) from within Front Page and selecting the option to allow programs to be executed. You can also follow these steps from Windows Explorer if you dont have Front Page.
Once youve done these things, your asp page should work! |
